Our sports

All children and young people with a physical or mental disability are welcome to join Only Friends Eindhoven. Anyone who thinks they belong to the target group can become a member. Only Friends Eindhoven offers a varied range of sports. We always think from the needs and experiences of this group of athletes.

Only Friends Eindhoven is starting on a smaller scale. Do you belong to the target group, and would you like to play sports, but your favourite sport is not yet on our activity list? Send us a message and we'll see if we can do something for you! Our aim is of course to enable as many children and young people as possible from Eindhoven and the surrounding area to play sports, get exercise and make friends!

We do not currently offer specific sports: our children play sports as a group with a variety of sports and games. Sometimes handball, field hockey and wall clips, then soccer, athletics and/or boxing. Sometimes monkey cages, as well as basketball or basketball.

Back from the road: GOALBALL

A ball and team sport without looking. Goalball is a sport played using other senses. Hearing, feeling and natural communication is important. It is a sport that is played worldwide, and is on the paralympic agenda. And soon can also be practiced in Eindhoven. Actually, goalball is the only team sport for the visually impaired in which you really have freedom.
Goalball is a great sport for everyone with or without a visual impairment. Young or old: everyone can enjoy it.

Come meet us!!!!

Only Friends Eindhoven, with the support of Gemeente Eindhoven and Uniek Sporten, organizes open training sessions to get acquainted with Goalball in the sports hall of the Eindhoven International School. Everyone is welcome, the club is specifically aimed at residents of Eindhoven and the surrounding municipalities such as Veldhoven, Eersel, Son, Best, Helmond and the A2 municipalities.

OPEN TRAINING
Target group: Everyone aged 7 to 99 with or without visual impairment.
Date: Saturdays February 24, March 2, March 16 and March 23.
Time: 12.00 - 14.00, walk-in from 11:30.
Location: International School Eindhoven, Oirschotsedijk 14B, 5651 GC Eindhoven, changing rooms available.
Clothing: sportswear, and indoor shoes (indoor).
Participation is free.
